Got the second book..
Went to Barnes & Noble today and got the Dungeons & Dragons Dungeon Master’s Guide. Pretty interesting so far. They took a lot of the mechanics description away and basically it’s now a book on social interaction. It details how to deal with certain types of players, how to plan ahead, and how to fix things when the game master screws up.
Good reading, I say!
Anyway, I got the general idea for the first chapter of my game (levels 1-10) and will be spending some freetime on some characters. I’ll try to keep all my visitors (if I have any) up to date. But I have some time. I think I want to try the online table top that Wizards is trying to push, should save everyone a drive..
I bought a similar program a few years ago at the convention but never got around to using it. Plus, it was basically a beta product as the voice over ip did not exist nor was the connection screen very useful. It was very clunky and didn’t work very well. Here’s hoping they make it easy!
